News Update - January 25th 2011

After some interesting poker tournaments here in the workshop during the snow, we're back as busy as ever since the new year;- we've been fixing a lot of iphones and ipods, and now have full stock of apple parts. We've done a few more obscure brand phones too.  We're continuing to get great results with replacing faulty components on system boards of both
laptops and desktops.  We're seeing lots of 'fake anti virus' malware attacks on laptops this month, but fewer people getting phone calls from fraudsters telling them they're infected and talking them through the malware installation, which is great, because these were among the most dangerous attacks we've seen.

Brian, one of the fine employees of Laser Computers in Dundrum has been helping us here at Vuvuzela Ireland to ‘Bring The Noise' to the masses. You're quasi famous now Brian, try to remember all us little people when you make it big



Autumn News - October 7th 2009

This Autumn we've been very busy with repairs and sales;  we're selling lots of our standard dual core desktop pc at 395 to families whose old machine is beyond repair.  We've had some interesting grade A2 laptops through as well, some fairly good value.  We really like the new Acer Aspire Timeline range - they're a little pricey at €675 but they're only 1.7 kilos in weight, look the business and have a mighty spec.  We sold lots of them, as anyone who sees one, wants one!  TFT screens are cheaper this month too; we've a 20? for only €129.

It's the one year anniversary of Dave's death on the 15th, so a few of us will be raising a glass to him in his old local in Newcastle, county Wicklow.  Contact nikki if you're interested in coming along.
